Will he get a pony?

Aidan is currently taking his first long afternoon nap of his life. He's been down for almost 2 1/2 hours! What a gift on my day off - I am finally catching up on the 22,000 projects I have stacking up around the office and house.
Let's keep our fingers crossed that he's not up all night after this...

Aidan's 3 month pictures

We had Aidan's 3 month pictures taken today at Portrait Innovations. I love their pictures because they are inexpensive and you can see the photos right away, then they're printed in 15-30 minutes. Aidan loved having his pictures taken at first, smiling like crazy for the camera. However, after a few minutes he decided he was out of smiles and was sober as can be for the rest of them. They still turned out SUPER cute. I can't believe how big he is...and how red his hair is getting! Enjoy...

Monthly Aidan

At three months, Aidan:

-laughed for the first time

-enjoys talking to his "friends" who hang from the mobile on his swing

-is wearing 3-6mos clothes

-is figuring out how his hands work

-still doesn't nap much during the day

-waves his arms, kicks his feet, and squeals with delight when he's about to eat

-sits in his Bumbo chair but doesn't quite know if he likes it or not

-weighs 15 pounds

-watches Baby Einstein DVDs a few times a week

-flirts with anyone who will pay attention

-hates his car seat but really digs the Baby Bjorn

-eats six times a day and takes 30-45 minutes

-sent Mommy back to work full-time

-loves time with grandparents each week

-sleeps in his crib (no bouncy seat!)

-is getting super chubby, and we love it!

8/28/08: He is definitely my child. Fast asleep after going crazy watching old episodes of "Press Your Luck" on the Game Show Network. Do you think his first words will be "No Whammys"?

Update

So the only thing worse than your baby being sick is your baby being sick while you yourself are sick. YUCK.
Aidan is feeling better today but I took a turn for the worse. Hopefully we'll both be feeling better soon!

Sad boy...today he has his first cold. My all-night sleeper was up every hour last night, didn't want his binkie, and just wanted to be held. Keep good thoughts that he feels better soon!

I know...I've been a horrible blogger! A unique recipe that combines the holiday weekend, new laptop quirks, Aaron traveling, and back-to-work craziness has put me way behind. I promise to add lots of pictures in the next day or so!!
